Moondragon, first appearing in Iron Man #54 (January 1973), is a complex character in Marvel Comics.
Born Heather Douglas, her life took a tragic turn when Thanos attacked a vehicle she was in, leading her father to activate a device that would eventually become Drax the Destroyer. Mentor, a Titan, rescued Heather and trained her in martial arts and mental disciplines.
This intensive training granted Moondragon incredible psionic abilities including telepathy, telekinesis, and mind control. She is a powerful but often arrogant and morally ambiguous figure, known for her pursuit of power and knowledge. Her relationships with other heroes are frequently strained due to her manipulative nature.
